The African Wild kids’ meal series was honored with an excellence award for illustration, design, and copywriting. The boxes featured endangered animals on one side and a stand on the other. 💀

Admark's promotional packaging was recognized as exceptional in two national awards competitions.
Admark's African Wild' Kids' Meal packaging won one of only 16 Gold Awards given at the Paperboard Packaging Council's 49th Annual National Paperboard Packaging Competition. African Wild earned the highest scores in structural and graphic design, product excellence, consumer marketing, and uniqueness of package, plus an outstanding rating for its educational benefit. African Wild comprises of four Kids' Meal cartons featuring endangered species. 💀

The whimsical Covered Wagon kids’.meal received an Award of Excellence.
Three of my favorite Classic Cruisers: the yellow Mustang, blue T-Bird, and the red Corvette also won an Award of Excellence.💀
1983 Awards of Excellence
I received awards of Excellence for the first Vista Monster Meal kid's boxes, Holiday Inn kid's meal box, and an ink illustration of bobcats for Security Benefit Group’s bi-monthly news publication. The Holiday Inn box was illustrated almost entirely in colored marker. I was not pleased with it, and I was surprised it won. 💀
1984 Awards of Excellence
While with Admark, the Associated Brokers Direct Mail, the September calendar (painting of Louie Armstrong), the 1984 January calendar, and all the calendars combined earned awards of excellence. 💀
1990 Awards of Excellence
Admark was given an award of excellence for miscellaneous print material, such as business cards, envelopes, booklets, posters, etc. 💀
1998 Citation of Excellence
A citation of excellence was awarded to the American Kennel Club championship poster
design. 💀
1998 Awards of Excellence
A Black and white food illustration while working with The Professional Advertiser earned an award of excellence. A second award of excellence was given for the color illustration on a kid's meal
box. 💀

The painting of the young geisha girl, one of my favorite paintings while at Admark was given
an award of excellence for illustration. 💀
Butler Paper Company Award
Butler Paper awarded Admark an award of excellence for illustrating their locomotive's Kansas Expocentre All Aboard poster. The limited edition print was printed on Butler Paper.
The print was included in a promotional kit that was delivered to prospective hotel corporations interested in development at the Expocentre.
This promotion also received an Addy Award of Excellence for direct mail and illustration and an Addy Award of Merit for specialty advertising. 💀
1996 Awards & Citations
of Excellence
Award of Excellence for Prairie Air poster for artistry and photography. Additionally, there were two citations of excellence, one for the Admark poster print series and the other for the Southwestern Bell underwater magazine ad. 💀
1996 Judge’s Special Citation
This citation was given by the Topeka Advertising Federation in recognition of the Prairie Air poster. 💀

Communication Arts
While with Admark in Topeka, at 37th & Burlingame, I had the opportunity to create Prairie Air, a self-promotional poster. The prestigious Communications Arts magazine published and gave it an award of excellence. I couldn't have been more proud to have my artwork displayed among the best of the best in CA/Communications Arts, the pinnacle of graphic design. 💀
2006 Omni Award
of Excellence
My creative director and I along with our Toyota team at Callahan Creek worked tirelessly to complete the Lexus color and trim kit that was distributed to all of North American dealerships. It was quite impressive with its many components, a leather case, and matching leather color and trim portfolios. 💀
